Tyson Cazier is a guitar instructor based in Harker Heights, TX, offering private guitar lessons for beginners through advanced players. With over 16 years of full-time teaching experience, he has taught at universities and colleges since 2010 and has helped hundreds of students through more than 10,000 lessons.
Tyson specializes in helping guitarists move beyond memorized patterns—learning the fretboard, improving improvisation, and playing with real confidence and musicality. His students don’t just learn songs—they understand what they’re playing.
After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Tyson directed the guitar program at Southern Utah University, then taught at Utah State University for seven years. He now teaches at Central Texas College, where he continues to develop and grow the guitar program.
In addition to teaching, Tyson is a professional composer for video games, bringing a deep understanding of music, creativity, and real-world musicianship into every lesson.
